Policies & Information for your holiday

The wellbeing, safety and security of our guests and our staff has been at the heart of the Schwarzer Adler for generations. Even more in the current situation, we will do everything, so that you can spend a safe and worry-free holiday.

Most things do not change, even if the times are difficult: we welcome you in our house with Austrian hospitality. In addition, our spacious hotel offers room for you to enjoy relaxing holidays. Nevertheless, the are adaptions, which we have put together for you on this page. 

We try our best to keep the following page up-to-date, but due to the constant changes, we cannot be held accountable for the validitiy of the information. General regulations in Austria

The entrance rules for our Austria and our hotel

To travel to Austria and also to enter the hotel, the so called 2-G rule applies. This means that you need either

  • Vaccine Certificate
  • Proof of Past Infection

Vaccine Certificate

  • if you have received both doses of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria or Covishield), BioNtech/Pfizer, Moderna, Sinopharm, or Sinovac (this is valid for 9 months)
  • starting on the 22nd day after your one Johnson & Johnson dose (only until 3 January 2022, then only with a second dose)

Children under 12 years are currently exempt from entry rules, for minors between 12 and 18 years, a solution is being worked on. However, until then, the have to be fully vaccinated.

Proof of Past Infection

  • You can enter Austria for 180 days after a SARS-CoV-2 infection.

This means, a negative COVID test is not enough to enter a hotel or restaurant in Austria anymore!

FFP2 masks must be worn in all indoor areas as well as the cable cars.

Apres ski & Night life

  • All restaurants must close at 11pm
  • Apres Ski and bars are not open
  • Food and drinks may only be consumed while seated
  • (These rules are valid at least until 10 January)


The COVID information for our hotel

Cancellation policy

For all direct bookings the following booking conditions apply, if not stated otherwise:

  • up to 1 month before arrival – free cancellation
  • as of 1 month up to 1 week before arrival – 70% of the value of the reservation
  • within the last week before arrival – 90% of the value of the reservation
  • no-shows, delayed arrivals or earlier departures – entire value of the reservation (100%)

A cancellation is always possible free of charge in case there is a lockdown in Austria or the hotel or ski resort are closed.

In addition, we recommend to get a travel insurance f.e. Europäischen Reiseversicherung

SAFE CHECK-in & CHECK-OUT

We organize the check-in and check-out procedure as efficient and contactless as possible. Please take advantage of the online check-in and pay your bill on the evening before your departure, so that we can avoid a crowd of people in the reception area. 

Hygiene

Please wash your hands with soap regularily during the day. In addtion, desinfection stations are located throughout the hotel. Please consider the right etiquette when coughing. 

Restaurant

In our restaurant has been adapted to the current needs and offeres plenty of space an distance. A FFP2 mask must be worn when you are not seated.

Spa & Wellness

Our spacious spa area with pools and saunas is open, but please keep the minimum distance in mind. 

At this point, we are not sure if there will be sauna treatments with our spa attendant in winter. 

Child care

Currently, we are planning with our usual child care daily from 3pm to 9pm in our play room. In addition, we are happy to arrange private baby sitting for you (extra charge).

All members of the Adler team are trained with regards to the situation and they also follow the 3-G rule.

We rely on your cooperation in all areas and thank you for your support and understanding. 

Please follow the following principles when you do not feel well or show symptoms:

  • If you are ill before you travel: Please stay at home and protect yourself and others!
  • When you experience any symptoms (f.e. coughing, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste, fever, etc.) during your stay, please remain at your hotel room and call the reception immediately.
