The wellbeing, safety and security of our guests and our staff has been at the heart of the Schwarzer Adler for generations. Even more in the current situation, we will do everything, so that you can spend a safe and worry-free holiday.

Most things do not change, even if the times are difficult: we welcome you in our house with Austrian hospitality. In addition, our spacious hotel offers room for you to enjoy relaxing holidays. Nevertheless, the are adaptions, which we have put together for you on this page. 

We try our best to keep the following page up-to-date, but due to the constant changes, we cannot be held accountable for the validitiy of the information. If you have any specific questions, we are happy to answer them on the phone on +43 5446 2244.

General opening regulations in Austria

The entrance rules for our Austria and our hotel

To travel to Austria and also to enter the hotel, the so called 3-G rule applies. This means that you need either

  • a covid vaccination (valid from the date of your second shot)
  • a certificate (not older than 3 months) for antibodies of a prior infection
  • or a valid test (PCR valid 72hrs, quick test valid 48hrs)

If you are not vaccinated or have antibodies, you need to do additional tests every 48 hours. These tests can be made at the hotel front desk free of charge very quickly.

We rely on your cooperation in all areas and thank you for your support and understanding. 

Please follow the following principles when you do not feel well or show symptoms:

  • If you are ill before you travel: Please stay at home and protect yourself and others!
  • When you experience any symptoms (f.e. coughing, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste, fever, etc.) during your stay, please remain at your hotel room and call the reception immediately. 


The COVID information for our hotel

Cancellation policy

For all new and existing direct bookings the following booking conditions apply:

  • up to 2 months before arrival – free cancellation
  • as of 2 months up to 1 month before arrival – 40% of the value of the reservation
  • as of 1 month up to 1 week before arrival – 70% of the value of the reservation
  • within the last week before arrival – 90% of the value of the reservation
  • no-shows, delayed arrivals or earlier departures – entire value of the reservation (100%)

In addition, we recommend to get a travel insurance f.e. Europäischen Reiseversicherung

SAFE CHECK-in & CHECK-OUT

We organize the check-in and check-out procedure as efficient and contactless as possible. Please take advantage of the online check-in and pay your bill on the evening before your departure, so that we can avoid a crowd of people in the reception area. 

Hygiene

Please wash your hands with soap regularily during the day. In addtion, desinfection stations are located throughout the hotel. Please consider the right etiquette when coughing. 

Restaurant

In our restaurant has been adapted to the current needs and offeres plenty of space an distance. There are no additional restrictions.

Spa & Wellness

Our spacious spa area with pools and saunas is open as usual, but please keep the minimum distance in mind. 

At this point, we are not sure if there will be sauna treatments with our spa attendant in winter. 

Child care

We ask for your understanding, that due to current situation, we cannot guarantee that there will be child care in our play room in winter. However, we are happy to arrange private baby sitting for you (extra charge).
