Hiking holidays in St. Anton am Arlberg

The trails are clearly waymarked with information on destination, route, distance, time and difficulty – impossible to get lost. The numerous tour options and the extensive network of trails enable you to enjoy the solitude and tranquility of the mountains to the fullest.

The Eagle Walk

Biking, mountain biking and e-biking in St.Anton am Arlberg

The mountains of our “Best of the Alps” village offer a mountain bike trail network with a total of approx. 200 kilometers particularly scenic trails. All routes are well marked, signposted and a fantastic experience!

Mountain biking

The waymarking is standardized throughout Tirol and shows difficulty levels – like ski pistes. In St. Anton am Arlberg mountain bikers find something for every taste: easy starter trails through lush meadows and shady forests, easy to moderate trails with gentle rises, but also steep routes for experienced bikers. All routes begin at – directly at the Schwarzer Adler – and are consistently signposted.


For all hobby athletes who are still working on their endurance, e-bikes are an interesting alternative to the classic mountain bike. Even the hardest ascent is possible with the help of the electric motor. Battery charging stations are available on many mountain huts.


Golf holidays in St. Anton am Arlberg

St. Anton offers its summer guests a nine-hole course which offers both challenges and hours of enjoyment for both beginners and advanced players. Golf is booming all over the world. The fascination to shoot the little white ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible is great. And it’s amazing how a superstar influences the young generation.

St. Anton is also a challenge for advanced players. In addition there’s several top golf courses in the surroundings:

Tennis in airy heights

In St. Anton everything is close.  Just behind the Schwarzer Adler there are two sunny outdoor tennis courts, a stone’s throw from the hotel. Enjoy the fresh air with an exciting tennis match surrounded by the mountains.

Even in bad weather you can play tennis. At the Arl.Rock, St. Anton’s leisure centre, there are two modern indoor spaces. The Arl.Rock is only a few minutes walk from the Schwarzer Adler. Court rental from € 19, – per hour.
