ometimes your body doesn’t need an intense workout or strenuous stretching. Sometimes, all it needs is gentle, mindful movement, rest and a space where it can truly let go.
During our Brain to Body Weekend, Alexandra Duncan will introduce you to the Somatic Movement Education method. Discover how your brain influences the way you move and learn how to sustainably improve your well-being and movement potential.
The sessions are gentle, restorative and suitable for everyone – with no previous experience and no pressure to perform.
The focus is not on becoming “better”. It is about feeling lighter, freer and more at ease in your own body again.
A weekend for anyone who achieves a lot, spends a lot of time sitting, has a busy mind – and is looking for a break that not only helps them relax, but also has a lasting positive effect.
Four gently guided sessions in a small group, beneficial impulses for the back, neck, core and joints, as well as simple exercises that can easily be continued at home.
In between, there is plenty of time to enjoy the Adler Spa, delicious cuisine, fresh mountain air and relaxing moments in St. Anton am Arlberg.
Alexandra Duncan is an experienced movement and mindfulness trainer with more than 15 years of experience in yoga, Feldenkrais, somatics, strength training, meditation and stress regulation.
She combines in-depth knowledge of the body with a calm, clear and empathetic approach. Her aim is to help people release tension, better understand their own bodies and regain greater confidence in movement, posture and overall well-being.
For guests who long for more calm, lightness and a better sense of well-being in their own body. For anyone who would like to release tension, move more mindfully and reconnect with themselves.
No previous experience in any form of movement practice is required. No special level of fitness is needed. Just the desire to enjoy a weekend that truly feels good.
Brain to Body Somatic Movement Education – for a body that feels light, alive and at ease with itself again.
